The Superhero Show Show #377: DC’s Legends of Singing Competition Shows

The Superhero Show Show #377

DC’s Legends of Singing Competition Shows

The Legends of Tomorrow are in a singing competition for the fate of the planet, on an all-new The Superhero Show Show!

On a very special episode of The Superhero Show Show, Cassie and the Boyz finally turn their sights to Legends of Tomorrow, and it’s a doozy. KNOXACRILLION has come to Earth to kill our leader, and he thinks that leader is D.J. S’moremoney! It’s up to Zari 2.0 and the gang to enter a singing competition – and win it – to save the planet. Doesn’t make sense? Then listen to the pod. Will Zari and Constantine break up? Will Mick get his act together? Does Mike think Legends is still spiraling?

Then the Taste Buds review and discuss every other show based on a comic book this week, including episodes of Batwoman, Black Lightning, Fear the Walking Dead, The Flash, Jupiter’s Legacy, Superman and Lois, and Van Helsing!

And then, the Friends fly on down to X-TASMANIA, to discuss another episode of X-Men: The Animated Series! It’s A Rogue’s Tale, and that titular rogue is…Rogue! That’s right, we’re finally finding out the origin story of one of the X-Men’s most mysterious members. How exactly does Mama Mystique fit into her life, and how did Rogue make it out of a life of crime to become a superhero. Find out on this episode!

Finally, Mike sits down with Lou Graziani, the creator of Duel of the Fates: TOY BOX Edition and Cy-Boar!

Early on in 2020, Colin Trevorrow’s Star Wars: Duel of the Fates script was “leaked.” While tearing through all nerdy corners of the internet, fans were delighted and outraged at the possibilities that could’ve closed out the latest Star Wars trilogy. One such fan, Lou Graziani, happens to be a digital artist, illustrator, marketer, comic makers, and life-long Star Wars fan who owns thousands of Star Wars figures. Lou decided to spend his quarantine filming the script with his action figures, cardboard sets, and the help of friends, families, and actors. Lou dropped by the Crossover to talk with Mike about the process of the project, why learning new skills has been fulfilling during the pandemic, and his long-running independent comic Cy-Boar!
To hear the full interview (and to learn about the dopeness that is Cy-Boar), head over to our Patreon!
You can also read Lou’s comic on your iPad through DriveTru or Comixology

All of that, and so much more, on an all-new, all-different Superhero Show Show!
