I really like this band. This song is a pretty good representation of why. The video reminds me of one of those images that is made up of a million smaller images. The smaller images chronicle the life and times of the band, where they are from, who has been important in their lives, and what they looked like as kids. The whole thing is a study in still photography, and how to derive movement from pictures.  -SR

This song is incredible. This video is weird as shit. But you know what, MTv would play weird videos all the time so why not this shit? At least the song is fucking cool. Also, when you are a musician, you start dreaming about what your first music video is going to be like. Will it have zombies? Will I be a doctor? Will a little girl be very sick? Unfortunately, it appears that all of Frank Ocean’s ideas were thrown into this particular video plot pot and stewed a bit too long. Yes, this video sucks but the song is SO MOTHERFUCKING GOOD. And since MTv isn’t around anymore, this is my way of getting you to eat your musical vegetables. – JRN

This video is so retarded. For real though. It’s like Taylor Swift thought to herself what exactly do little kids like and how can I combine it all into one music video? Let me get some dancing adults in animal costumes, pajamas, glitter, and what little kids think happens in real life (including lots of bad dancing and cheesy grins). BUUUUT as much as I hate this video and how childish she acts this song is way too catchy. I’m totally hooked on this shit. I’m beyond the point of embarrassment. This song is everywhere and I’m going with it. Taylor Swift you have done it again. You’ve made me like another one of your songs with your catchy repeating of a chorus. Good job. -RC

I was fairly terrified that “Call Me Maybe” was going bounce around my head into infinity so thank the internet gods for K-Pop sensation PSY and his ridiculously catchy social commentary. Apparently the rich kids spend their time wearing bow ties and riding invisible horses so I totally get the desire for their style. The song is destined to live on way past the initial novelty, it’s just cheesy enough and while we can’t all be an Asian lord of the dance the moves are perfect for drunk idiots to look hilarious shaking their hips to. I hate to say it but we may be looking at the birth of the 21^st Century Macarena. – AS
